In a business update on Wednesday (Apr 30), the real estate investment manager said that much of the decline came from the deconsolidation of CapitaLand Ascott Trust (Clas). In December 2024, CLI sold a 4.9 per cent stake in Clas for S$162 million to an unrelated party.

In 2024, 4 days later, the share price went back to pre-XD price. 30 Apr 2024 closed at $2.66, dividend of 12 cents. So 2 May 2024, share price closed at $2.56, still higher than theoretical share price of $2.66 - 12 cents = $2.54 4 days later, 6 May 2024, share price was back to $2.65

I think 250 to 255 will find genuine bidders this Friday
Extremely fearful bears may want to buy back at 255 to 260. But they're a minority. Looking at the fear in markets, I think this will test 250 next week. |

Look at this chart of 2024. 2022 and 2023 both have the share price tanking after XD due to the bear market after the rate hikes. 2024 was a rate cut year, comparable to 2025 (expect rate cuts). 2024 same, XD was 2 May 2024.

Remember CLI is fit 0.12 cents but CLCT is see what price i going to sell.

I think u purposely want to find trouble here and waste our time. To Admin: Can you please do something? One last time for the benefits of some new users here.  CLI declared dividend of 18 cents. Share price $2.75. The statement 0.2 cents is WRONG! It should be 20 cents or $0.2 and not 0.2 cents. I not going to reply this troller. I hope Admin takes action, if not this forum getting polluted.
