NCL fall has been fast and furious. When analsyts said shallow water no problem, market took in their flowery words. Now it has been proven that shallow water also not spared. The once broker house favourite is now a goner. It is a race to the exit door now. A race to preserve as much captial as possible. Poor NCL. If there are going to be new contract wins, please annouce them quick to save your shareholders! |

NCL booked a non-cash derviatives profit of 11mil. Without this gain, this Q is actually a loss. Inventory is ballooning now. At least half got no contract. Taking into account this, their NAV is around 9cts. At current price of 19.8cts, premium is more than doubled. Another 1.5 months to end Sept. If still no contract wins by then, Q3 results will be very ugly. Shallow water no problem. Which anaylsts said that? Better find out their names so that you can discount these people word next time they open their mouths. I had a good time with NCL. I hope it will pull through. Not a call to buy/sell. DYDD. |

Nam Cheong would have issues going forward.
Result just out. Top line down 49% while bottom line plunged 83%. With so few or no contract wins for months, the outlook remain bleak |

The rate of decline was pretty fast recently. I suspect market is anticipating a below expectation Q2 results given no contract wins for donkey months. |

Already said in my earlier post. No contract wins, issue new MTN to pay previous MTN ie, poor cashflow. BTS strategy backfired. Mgmt expect and analyst said swallow water OSV no affected. Mgmt expectation failed. Analysts words unreliable. Market just reacting to these failures.

NC is losing it each day. There are no contract wins for donkey months now. They needing to refinance loan indicates that cashflow is unable to do so. Will we see a loss this coming quarter? Will NCL attempt to continue recognising revenue for those BTS without contract to contain market fear and hope to clinch a deal before they run out of time? Will NC survive? |

SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed Malaysian shipbuilder Nam Cheong said Tuesday it will issue $75 million worth of 6.5 per cent, three-year, fixed rate notes at par under its $600 million multicurrency medium term note programme. The notes, named Series 4 Notes, are expected to be issued on July 23, 2015, and to mature on July 23, 2018. Those in deep water such as Kepcorp, Sembmarine, the share price is very well supported although they are in deep water segment....is it because they are index stocks? We also see Ezion faring much better...... |
