VARD is doing not pretty good and OCBC said otherwsie?   As I found out earlier, OCBC used this tactics before.   Issue sell call and they themselves increased stake in this company.   In the open they said one thing but in the no-so-dark they do oppositely. Also VARD is moving away from relying on oil price than comparing to our local O& G who solely if not mostly depends on oil coy investment. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It a good sign Vard try to be less relying on Oil n Gas industry but one must know order from commercial industry vs order from OnG industry. OnG order profit will be much higher last time. Smilar job but oil n Gas always pay higher because of the huge amount money involve in that industry back in the days.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Vard has 5 shipyards in Norway and one in Eastern block Tulsa and one in Brazil. They need lot of orders to fill up capacity. Their costs are high in Norway and not easy to make money with low price orders that they get these days. It is a good strategy for them to move away from O& G business and the cruise business suits their skill and cost structure better. If they can manage to fill up more Cruise ship orders then they will pull it off.
