While they know that some corporate action is imminent, they are betting that they would be able to cover eventually with a decent profit. Utimately, the losers would be SMM minority shareholder pre rights issue who did not or could not subsribe and to a lessor degree, SCI retail shareholders who sold their free shares at the cheap. The good thing about buying shares with cash is that there is no margin call, unlikie trading futures. Let' s see how this all pan out eventually. It' s truly exciting to witness this first hand.
