At the downtrend market, sell on strength. Anytime the stock rallies on deadcat bounce, just sell and if you dare just short. Experienced traders already share this trick and most of the time they are right. Beware we are entering May-Sep period, in which stocks are normally on downtrend. Sell in May and bye bye.

With 391 decliners to 76 advancers lucky to have found any green...penny stocks copped the brunt..but even still out of STI 27 decliners to 2 advancers so red across the spectrum...but when a pullback it least opens up more opportunities...

Chart-wise, the rise from sub-20 to 30s was too fast in less than 30 days. Such huge gaps will be filled eventually. As the rise was too quick due to euphoria, the fall will be equally fast too. Be warned!

If I recall correctly, those times N.Korea fire missile into Sea of Japan, Nikkei and Kospi mostly shrug it off too. Nikkei normally will dip if JPY rise but tis time still rise. I tot this time will have more reaction but still dun have. LOL.

many many stocks down today in sgx also. Alliance chart still weak, strongly believe still got about a week of red around 0.270 to 0.320 range based on charts only. imo. |

Nikkei had a 5 day losing stretch last week...from a technical perspective it was getting into oversold range...so it could be just a bounce...the Kospi however is a strange one...it seems to have gone up rather than down for past week....perhaps someone got an insight on the Kospi...
