The company' s total profit for the 1st half of 2021 is $34.1M. So  Real Estate Development (which includes Batam) only contributes less than 3% of the company' s total profit.  Did i get the figures right? Do not expect any major issue.    Land cost very cheap there, and has very good potential.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Ha Ha, both Batam and Bintam use USD not Sing Dollar.  Hotels are not cheap.  eg. Golf Games easily $150 and above per game.  JB malaysia inly $30 per game. U get the " Intangibles" ... fun, food, entertainment, ....etc If u are investing for monetary returns, go elsewhere. Of course, for developers it is cheap investment with good returns.,  Lugana, Club Med, other hotels (where our young couples spend their time and escapades there instead of local Hotel 81) packed most of the time. I hv been to Batam, there is a fair bit of development there, it is very nice and cosy too.  I do not mind putting $20K or so to enjoy the tranquility there.
