x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	the management of former isr cap is admirable:- it refused to let this listed co to disappear from your screen, it finds new biz to inject into the co. and they found a very sexy story of rare earth elements. somehow Mr Soh Chee Wen loves such sexy stuff and played it up and kenna caught dragging isr cap together. all mining and resource companies are speculative in nature and only the die hards, the strong ones can take such bouts of heart attacks every now and them. Certainly the 3rd report will not be far from the earlier ones. Now the management must find a fine balance on how to raise funds for acquisitions, explorations, etc. already we see convertible bonds, private placements and just recently agm on a bold lettering ' renounceable rights issue' clause. hence expect further dilution of shares/enlarge share capital. btw sgx is a mickey mouse clubhouse without any speculation and just buy blue chips for yields basis it might as well close shop. ticktock      ( Date: 05-May-2017 17:00) Posted: To be fair...that should not be the case, the Madagascar asset has been evaluated by the leading valuation agency in the world, ive gone through the detailed report myself. From his sharing, I can see that he knows what he is talking about. Well, time will prove everything. If it is really as what our expert has shared about the mining costs which may outweigh the prospects of the rare earth property at Madasgascar, then the project may not be as lucrative as it is touted to be. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	When it comes to the SGS report: I do agree these authors are Qualified Persons (sensu JORC/NI43-101) when it comes to the estimation of mineral resources. BUT, they (like the Australian geo) are not Qualified Persons when it comes to the evaluation of this particular type of REE mineralisation. To call yourself a " Qualified Person" you need to demonstrate that you have at least 5 years of relevant experience in this domain. THis experience, they simply cannot have as they have never worked in  REE bearing ion adsorption clays. The SGS resource estimate was calculated on the basis that the entire eluvial cover, say on average 10m thick, is made out ion adsorption clays and only the cerium cannot be leached. No problem with that, nobody wants to pay for cerium anyway. BUT, the former holders of the concession never conducted proper testwork on the ENTIRE 10m thick eluvial cover, they just submitted several hand-picked samples to the University of Toronto for testwork. By analogy to the South Chinese ion adsorption clays it is clear that only some 2 to 3m of this cover are leachable and will return positive results. In other words, the total amount of extractable REE will be reduced to some 20% of the total estimated resource. In situ leaching of the eluvial layer is not only an environmental nightmare, it also requires waiting times of 6-12 months before anything percolates through and can be collected again. Given the strong rainfall in this part of Madagascar, I would like to see the dilution occurring here. If you consider heap leaching or tank leaching, you would need to remove the first couple of meters of non-leachable clays before you arrive at the thin, leachable layer. Then you leach this stuff and later you have to bring back all the soil in order to reconstitute the landscape. Before you may do so, you need to remove all excess ammonium sulphate. Good luck then with your mining costs!
