The Jap can spoil the plan without having to make any offer. If later takeover not successful...Jap continues to control and the stupid rights will be resurrected.

I don' t think the Jap will offer higher. They cud have done it at 30ct. Pretty clear the Jap want to control   LCD cheaply without having to make an offer. Instead they want to issue rights at 25ct which will kill any offer and allow them to average down too. So I really can' t see the Jap coming in to offer above 33ct. But they also do not want Koh to buy enough to kick them out. So they may be trying to spoil Koh' s plan by making sure Koh can' t collect anything in the open market at 33ct or below. However, at some point when there are enough sellers.....33.5ct will break! But for that to happen, sellers got to start believing the Jap not going to bid and Koh not going to counter bid.......there are a lot of shares still in the hands of retail investors. It will come......

But today most done at 33.5ct. Koh cannot buy more than 33ct. If the Jap is out to spoil his plan, LCD will be back to square one.

The Kohs are smart. They know that the retail shareholders are sick of this counters. So now is the best time to aquire this company when they offer a hood ecit price.

Don' t think the Jap will allow themselves to be in such a position. If they not going to counter bid, they will likely throw to the Kohs too if they feel they are not going to be in control anymore. No point for them to keep the shares and get screwed by Kohs later....

Obviously the Koh brothers believe the company is worth more than 33 cents!

If buyers believe the price will move beyond 33 cents they will buy. One such senario is Jap makes a counter offer. Another possibility is the company has intrinsic value of more than 33 cents and buyers believe this value will be realised in future.

The brokerage fee is insignificant to the offerer. The Kohs are more concerned about buying enough shares at 33ct and below to beat JTrust. Tomorrow...the real show starts! :)

The Koh brothers very clever and decisive. They will take over LCD and the Jap will become SSH with no say. Already more than 100,000 lots queue to buy at 33 cents. They can buy from open market and also acquiring shares directly from shareholders who wish to accept the offer. Don' t know who is ahead at the queue, could be Koh brothers or people who think there is chance for price to move up beyond 33 cents. If it is the Jap, they will cross 30% and they will have to make a GO! At this point any price transacted above 33 cents at open market the buyer will not be Koh brothers. Huat to those vested!  |

the gentleman way would be to bring japanese to the table and make a gen offer or conditional offer and let shareholders know that you are ready to sell. not try to make money from shareholders who have been with you for years knowing that there is an impending offer of 0.3 so although now the result is the same.....they end up with a bad name plus got to suffer a hit becasue of the failed offer

Lum Chang is always a doggy co....always giving shareholders the shorter end of the stick.....those who have shares in this co.....pls parr down they have a lot of interest outside the listed co....conflict of interest...they are there for themselves when the meat is juicy...when its stale only then they will involve shareholders....they will ride you   to your grave with a smile its very obvious with LCD   i think they still have a few more % not enough to be concern with |

KWS owns substantial Aspial shares, TA Corp shares. Now buying up LCD Global. Brother KWM owns Fragrance Group. KWM also bought quite a lot of Tuan Sing shares. It seems that the Kohs have great ambitions to become super property developer. What is their game plan?
