Because SingTel won' t be doing the things our local banks are doing such as open up banking branches and setting up ATMs everywhere Mosf of the revenue from the 3 local banks comes from corporate banking rather than consumers like you and me I think SingTel will move more towards consumer-based banking like us instead

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I agree, Citibank is the most agressive bank in Singapore, far more aggressive and far sighted than any other banks operating here The first bank in Singapore to introduce 24/7 phone banking services the city never sleeps The first bank to set up ATMs at all MRT stations after signing agreement with SMRT and came up with the SMRT credit card also None of the local banks thought of doing it with SMRT, when MRT is the most widely used transport With Citibank ATMs at every single train station, that is just crazy how aggressive they are at trying to capture the market share If SingTel is as aggressive and do then right, share price of $5 wouldn' t even be a problem So I am just holding and waiting to see how things might turn out   Zerocool888      ( Date: 12-Jan-2022 08:08) Posted: I hope this is just one of the many many things Singtel-GRAB will come up with. It is one of my most used app. So, I am guessing with GRAB as their partner they better have an app which will at least be on par or better than GRAB App itself. If not, sure kena bomb by shortists again. Hahahaha. Looks like their first target audience might be Singtel and GRAB based customers. Then next wave they will try to fish in M1 and Starhub subscribers.
