These tenders were delayed, in part due to the slowing economic growth in Singapore and the uncertainty in the global economy. The Group has since taken active steps in this interim period to rationalise its costs and streamline its processes so as to achieve cost and operational optimisation. The Group has also drawn lessons learnt from such untimely and congruent events and will endeavour to ensure that such situations do not recur.
