DBS is the top pick for a few Houses. UOB comes second. But these analysts advised caution for OCBC because not enthusiastic about their acquisition of a stake in that HK Bank. Her trading range is 10.30 to 10.60. Few days ago I short her at 10.485 (average) and covered next session at 10.42. After I covered, that same day she hit the 10.20s. NABEH!

Unfortunately, it is continuing its role of " worst performing (in terms of share price) bank&ldquo this year! Often, ocbc shs will drop even when both dbs n uob goes up. Today again it is the poorest performer of the 3 local banks!

with expectations that interest rate going up, i think no matter dbs/ ocbc/ uob all banks will profit from it! 10.5 seems to be the ceiling until major news break out |

I think oc only fell out of favour once it announced the WHB acquisition. B4 that, it regularly out-performed the other banks

Agreed !! Who runs the company? The management or analyst? Having said that, analyst able to provide some stat figures e.g. PE ratio ... and compare it with the similar companys. For this, lazy people like me see some values there but never take their predictions.

1040 already supr good. Remember just a few mths ago, all the analysts condemn OCBC like crazy cos of the WHB pruchase. I always say people who condemn and pass judgement on coy' s business decisions talk as if they know better than the people running the business. Most of the time, they just talk sh*t
