CIMB Research analyst report dated Fri 10/11/2017 summary as follows: - Demand to sustain into FY18. - Upward revision of FY18-19F EPS  - Possible higher special dividend in FY17 as cash balance has increased ($64.3m on 30 Sep) - Target price of $1.21 Btw, BizTimes did not report ums Q3 results on Saturday (not sure about Straits Times as I did not read). So if BizTimes has a write-up on Monday, it should be good for those who want to unload but it looks like worthwhile holding on XD on 28 Nov Q3 interim div as that is only about 2 weeks away.

If that's the case, this company will goes to a height where no other companies can attain after few years. Just some thoughts that came to mind on this weekend,...

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	In my amateur opinion, reason why valuetronics fell was a contrast between expectations and actual results even though results good but less than expected. Tbh for UMS the results surpassed expectations cause no profit guidance whatsoever. Also last few days before results got ppl see valuetronics HI-P example and started to sell down le. Considering this, I would hold. Worse case scenario if it get sold down, based on my entry price and bonus issue the dividends if maintain 6cents which is likely considering the cash position of the coy the yield is still reasonable. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Good point, but okay la Im bought in again before bonus issue so got quite a bit of buffer space and quite willing to hold on as dividends counter as well. With the positive cash position from this year even if industry suddenly taper down next year, I believe they will still maintain dividends. On top of that, their contract with Applied Material just renewed and should be stable for next 2 years or so. With this thought, I have been holding and happily receiving good amount of dividend thru out the years.
