MBK Partners said Monday that its fully-owned Accordia Golf on June 29 signed a deal to take over the remaining stake in Accordia Golf Trust (AG Trust) listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange at 61.8 billion yen ($576 million). Accordia Golf already owned 28.8 percent in the Singapore-listed trust with rights to 88 golf courses in Japan. MBK Partners said the latest acquisition will be completed by Sept. 14. It will delist AG Trust from Singapore Stock Exchange after it completes the acquisition. The deal managers are Citigroup Global Markets Japan and Citigroup Global Markets Singapore. In 2017, MBK Partners took over Accordia Golf that had management rights of 130 golf courses in Japan. Of the 130 courses, Accordia Golf directly owned 42 courses and 88 courses were held by its trust company affiliate AG Trust. MBK Partners expect that the full ownership of all the golf courses run by Accordia Golf and AG Trust will enhance management efficiency. Prior to signing the latest deal, Accordia Golf had sold six of its 42 golf courses. The buyer and deal amount are unknown, but market watchers suspect the company sold the golf courses to raise fund for acquiring AG Trust. MBK Partners confirmed the sale of the six golf courses but declined to confirm in which the proceeds have been used. The latest deal coincides with MBK Partners&rsquo latest move to increase investment in golf courses in Korea, suggesting the company&rsquo s favorable outlook on the golf industry. In January 2018, the company set up golf course management company Golfzon County, which currently operates total 19 golf courses &ndash 16 at home and three abroad. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Hibiki holds 7.6%, that is about 83m shares. So, need another 27m shares before can table motion to remove manager. Otherwise, we will have to wait till EGM to vote no We will then  see whether there will be a revise offer.

I can' t help noticing that the Daiwa who have close relationship with Accordia Golf and participating in the divestment proposal did not abstain from the vote. We should write in to SGX RegCo indvidually for them to review earnestly.
