Once completed, the development will bring together 150,000 sq m of Grade &lsquo A&rsquo office space about 1,400 residential apartments Ascott Raffles City Chongqing serviced residence and InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing hotel and a 235,000 sq m shopping mall. Anchor tenants committed to date include Chinese electric vehicle (EV) company NIO, bookstore chain Yanjiyou, and fine foods purveyor Ole&rsquo . The group&rsquo s topping out of Raffles City Chongqing follows its structural completion of the development&rsquo s 250m high sky bridge, The Crystal, which links six of Raffles Chongqing&rsquo s eight skyscrapers. Designed by architect Moshe Safdie and measuring 300m, 32.5m and 26m in length, width and height, respectively, it is the world&rsquo s highest sky bridge linking the most number of towers. In a press release on Monday, the group&rsquo s president for China and investment management, Lucas Loh, says the group will now focus on Raffles City Chongqing&rsquo s interior and fit-out works, such as transplanting trees to The Crystal sky bridge. &ldquo Positioned as a must-visit destination for local residents as well as domestic and overseas travellers, Raffles City Chongqing has been garnering strong response from our customers. To date, Raffles City Chongqing has launched three residential towers with a total of 772 units, out of which 72% have been sold. More than 90% of the commercial leases at Jewel Changi Airport ? the Asian hub?s next-generation leisure and lifestyle destination? have been allocated, according to Joyce Tan, Head, Corporate & Marketing Communications.
Jewel Changi is on track to open in the first half of 2019, with speculation that March is the likely month.
As reported, the sprawling mixed-use development will boast more than 280 retail and F&B units with 70% of the space dedicated to retail and 60% of the listed brands new to Changi Airport.
Connecting Terminal 1?s Arrivals Hall to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 via pedestrian bridges and travelators, Jewel encourages travellers to traverse nature and retail in Singapore?s largest air-conditioned indoor garden.

Just yesterday, traders/shortists were trying to talk down the stock by painting a picture of doom and gloom.  Lol.      ![]() CapitaLand Q4 profit jumps 71.2% to S$475.7m WED, FEB 20, 2019 - 8:15 AM BETTER  operating performance, as well as higher gains from asset recycling and revaluation of investment properties boosted CapitaLand' s results for the fourth quarter.  For the three months ended Dec 31, net profit rose 71.2 per cent to S$475.7 million, from S$277.8 million last year. The higher earnings were also underpinned by greater contributions  from residential  projects in China, as well as newly acquired and operational properties, CapitaLand said.    On a per share basis, earnings came in at 11.4 Singapore cents for the quarter, up from 6.5 cents a year earlier.  Revenue climbed 34 per cent to S$1.62 billion, up from S$1.21 billion in the year-ago period.  The board is proposing a dividend of 12 Singapore cents a share for FY2018, unchanged from the previous financial year.  For the full-year, net profit was up 12.3 per cent to S$1.76 billion, as revenue rose 21.3 per cent to S$5.6 billion.  This translated to an earnings per share of 42.1 Singapore cents for the 12 months ended Dec 31, up from 37 cents in the preceding year.  https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/companies-markets/capitaland-q4-profit-jumps-712-to-s4757m |

At 3.43, dividend is still 3.5%.  If one buys at $3.0, there is still an extra 14.3% gain now.  So, what' s the complaint  of such a payout by a bluechip company?    Property businesses are getting difficult in China & SGP due to the cooling measures & China slow down.  Hence, it may be good to use these extras to accumulate sites now!  |

I suspect the revenue and profit numbers will be good, however the div will remain at 12cts. Its track record shows it is not a generous company.
