Old news, but Wong Kim Yin is from SP Group and his experience at Temasek is more in energy sector and not marine.
SEMBCORP Industries will be appointing a new group president and chief executive officer (CEO) to take over from Neil McGregor, who will retire on June 30, said the firm in a statement on Monday. Wong Kim Yin, CEO of leading utilities provider SP Group, will assume Mr McGregor's role from July 1, 2020. Mr Wong has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector and in investment management. Formerly the senior managing director of investments at Temasek International, he was responsible for investments in various sectors, including the energy, transportation and industrial clusters. |

Dont mind i share ,, if a stock FA get lousy , and drop 20% after u buy over a period of time,and not because of major cirses but due to it product no longer in demand..by market,, it is game over.., better twist counter and dont average on loser. look today need we worry,, unless u bet small and trade small,, u dont lose sleep.. cut loser fast..........i hope it is good news too,( vested), i think likely , but guess also uesless, |

Those who got 80 -200 lots must be rich to hold.If issue right like SIA will still profit eg SIA right only $3.00 but now share price 4.40......so 200 lots gain profit of approx $300k. ...

I have 80 lot, 20 lot I buy on the 29-5-20 at $1.45 & $1.48.
Hope it is not issuing right, why so many happening on SCI ( eg drop from MSCI index)

Any company having a rights during this period of depressed prices, will have to be real desperate and in deep trouble. Can understand if SM calls for rights issue but definitely not SCI. SCI has the capacity to wait for higher stock prices to get a better deal if they wanted to call for any rights issue. And SM shot up just before trade halt which infers no rights issue.

Probably only can trade next Monday. If still not lifted on Monday, then going into suspension. Those short the stocks or on contra when the price drop last Friday, jialat. Will kena chased for payment. Btw, if as some mentioned about rights issue, need so much time to announce meh? Finding a suitable low price of $1.00? Lol. Don't rights issue this time leh, sure kena sell down. But recently just have $3,000,000,000 credit facility or something, need a rights issue so fast meh ... | ||||
