 Alert Admin 		No more defending of 25 by DBS shae buy back team?.......Finally they get the message?  At last count, they spend about ~S$170+millions on share buy back at average price of 25.31.

You see what happened to DBS yesterday?  I have an issue with the ability of the share buy back team.  It was very obvious that the BB wanted to pump up DBS shares prices.  Married deal before opening to mop up the sellers and gap up to 25.1x and fast push to 25.4x.  And interestingly DBS buy back at 25.44 to 25.55 (day high) with ave price paid pershare at 25.53.  DBS...wake up.  You are providing support for the BB to distribute.  What were you thinking?  Were you so desperate to move the price up till you actually get taken advantaged by this BB?  And by Suporting the price, you are enabling the Institutions to unload at an artificially higher price.  Till date... you have burn a whopping ~S$136.9millions on share buy back.  Assuming 6%, your opportunity cost is ~S$8.2millions........    IMO, DYODDsurprise

Item (1) still on going.....next opportunity to cool thing down would be the Trump Xi meeting in Nov
Item (2) Unlikely to change anytime soon, the real impact of the measures will be known in Q3/Q4.    How many En Bloc deals have been cancelled so far from this?
Item (3) Issued resolved, but what was the damaged down in the 2 weeks?

I will be playing the 24.9x to 25.8x range for 25cents to 60cents till Q3 result out or till any impactful news is out.  Btw, US and Canada is expected to have a trade deal by this Friday. could be as early as tonight.
