DBS report assume profit of about $606m or 51% of previous year.
Tourists down 35% for year 2020. DBS TP is 80c. The above is too optimistic imo. Tourists for 2020 should be down at least 50%. Likely to report zero profits or even losses should Covid 19 drag for another qtr which is highly likely. Trade w care.

dbs buy call TP 0.80, dont think it will reach that level unless bb want to absorb alot of selling thats why last week cheong till 0.775 only. anything below that is a good target to hold short. of course need to have some margin to buffer abd patience | ||||

Starhucks main rival got accounting fraud? I suppose this also helps in starbucks share rise? And generally, stocks that are food related will not be impacted that much. Govt give u money to buy essentials. For many, starbucks considered essentials. I seen so many posts on social media on my frens daily purchases from starbucks despite CB. The reason why starbucks incur losses is because they shut down many outlets which means loss of income. With outlets reopening in china, money will come in despite ongoing restrictions, including europe and china
For this stk, i will treat the current results as one off. Covid not affecting its demand. In fact, i see more biz for starbucks as SMEs collapse and only F&B with deep pockets outlasting in F&B |

SGX shld implement back quarterly reporting for investors to make timely decisions. Finance dept just need to spend some thing to do reporting. Sales dept are not involved. Its unaudited anyway. But investors need quarterly reporting

If you know USD will no longer be the global reserve currency, wouldn' t you milk it as much as possible before the inevitable? Maybe after a civil war, each state will issue their own currency? Like NYD, California dollar (CFD) etc.
