i think so too but the 3 banks and heavy weights r controlled by these foreigners.... they seem to collude to buy and sell togather....we r at their mercy unfortunately gic and temasek are busy looking outside the window admiring other people' s garden and pool forgetting to stir their own pot to keep it warm, so we are faced with a cold dish and have to stomach it up despite the cold lard and hopefully our arteries are able to carry on functioning in winter. We all have to wait for the fire or matchstick that comes from Santa and he comes only when his reindeers and sleigh is ready

UBS been singing this song since 3 weeks ago...spore banks is a lousy investment because all the regional economies not doing well..china..thailand..indonesian..malaysia so based on that...put $ somewhere else |

The whole market has drop. Banks leading the STI ...and sure OCBC or DBS is affected> Interest rate up might be a good thing for banks ...just hold and be patient. ( I am refering to long term investor not traders here) If you have buy shares or sold shares this few days ...u will notice 1. Sellers are UBS, US house etc and sold down 100/200 shares....local are selling out of fear 2. On the other hand , every sale there is a buy ...so who is accumulating at the cheap (note will USD at 1.41 , they are buying even cheaper) Sorry to see our retail selling out of fear ( created with all those noise and report) and they buying and accumulating at the cheap > when the sky clear ...a dff story appears and they sing a diff song this repaet every cycle. Good luck

WHat happen? $9.35 now! that' s almost 3 years dividend wiped out from $10.45. Could it be MYR depreciation affecting their Malaysia unit? Need to write off?? |

Price being push down to 9.5. Sell down 100 shares by 100 shares. This is what SGX making it easier to push down a heavy weight company share. 9.5 x 100 = 950 instead of 9.5 x 1000 = 9500
