These amounted to approximately US24.4 million in total remuneration  paid out from FY2014 to FY2020." Based on the above extract, it appears that the top 3 executives are well paid with US24.4 million for a period of 7 years. Meaning each year average is US3.48 million. Convert to Singapore dollars = $4.8 million per year is enough to buy 480 million of QT share @0.01.  Good chance that these existing Directors will buy up the shares in open market to counter MW threat.  Why not, the existing Directors can use their yearly remuneration to buy 480 million shares which is double what MW currently had so as to have more voting rights to stop their requisitor to remove them & continue to enjoy their yearly " fat " remunerations.  Very interesting.

Objective already met ..10% is good enough to call requisition and get voters to vote for Christen kwok. It's no longer a punting stock in my opinion. Risk reward doesn't justify taking position for me. Why? A) if current board wins, Christian kwok may not want to hold his 10%. Cos after rto, another 4bln shares will be issued . So total 6bln plus shares. His 220mln shares is only 3.6%. Will he dump.. I don't know.. what if they dump.. that's a massive 220mln shares B) if Christian kwok wins, current mgmt like wise also have no incentive to continue holding to shares. Also changed it gets dump. So I rather stay out when 2 elephants fight It's for existing share holders to vote wisely. On the contrary , if MW after failed to secure sufficient votes to approve their proposed Directors & have no intention to up their stake further to acquire more shares in the open market to the extent of mandatory offer, then I would say that this is also good for the existing shareholders as it also shows that MW has no sincerity to maximise shareholders valve in the 1st place but with other alterior motives then there is nothing to be disappointed about. Convert to Singapore dollars = $4.8 million per year is enough to buy 480 million of QT share @0.01.  Good chance that these existing Directors will buy up the shares in open market to counter MW threat.  Why not, the existing Directors can use their yearly remuneration to buy 480 million shares which is double what MW currently had so as to have more voting rights to stop their requisitor to remove them & continue to enjoy their yearly " fat " remunerations.  Very interesting.
