As i mentioned in earlier post, they are fighting the same kind of issue everywhere they have taxi fleets..When taxi becomes hard to get on the road, ppl turned to mobile solutions to get a cab. Do you still see ppl trying to flag down taxi these days?  This thing will spiral, and will cause the taxi to go into a vicious cycle, where taxi is hard, we go mobile, and slowly, ppl will give up trying to get a cab. That' s what grab/uber is hoping for. Of cos, taxi will always be in existence, just at what scale.. maybe at 10% of today? who knows..
