I concluded getting sci w its smm payout was far better. I was about 80% sure of that. Otherwise I would have bought even more at pre-demerger. If only ... Then everyone shouting for $1.20 or lower when it hit $1.36. I just held on and added some slowly. Eventually breakeven and got some profits from its recovery after a period of about 5 months or more. I sold about 70% of my SCI shares with about $5k Profits in the bank account now. Still left a few lots holding on and waiting for the IPO news. Never too late to sell if it is on the uptrend. Can also hold for dividends next Jan/Feb. Same goes to Singtel, I bought and ppl are shouting: "it is going down, going to sink ..." Well, I will just hold on and wait for dividends and wait for the news. If I can sit on my SCI paper losses of over $6k and turnaround for profits, I believe Singtel will also be another counter to profit from. And Singtel will always be in STI. Dyodd.
