You can see GLP has formed downtrend channel since 2013 which means investor already expect slower growth of china economy. Bear in mind, stock market reacts faster than the actual result of economy. However the recent data shows that the slowness of china growth is worsen, plus Federal is going to have interest hike in Sep, which will trigger the flow of funds globally. The expected mid term for RMB against USD is on depreciation trend. that' s why GLP is going to diverse its assets in USA instead of continue with China market. Technically, GLP is still in down trend in long term chart. Even though there is temporary uptreand, it is still capped by long term downtrend channel. If no short term trading is made, there is no way to profit from this counter since 2013. Bear in mind, bear market will have rebounce, then bull market will also have correction. Like FATABA said, fundamental value at 2013 might be different story. Look at GLP, GLP already started to reduce exposure in CHina and move into US. It is a good move as US economy is picking up while CHina is slowing down. confidence will come back. Technically, it was seriously oversold yesterday...
