Some of them did not cover during the bounce from 3.16 to 3.19 yesterday becoz they were betting on a dead cat bounce followed by a resumption of the fall towards 3.10. But it didnt happen. And now that they see buying getting stronger, the smart ones threw in the towel and covered to grab what' s left of their profits.  Like I said earlier, selling at 3.22 was well absorbed by bargain hunters. But there are only so many sellers at 3.22. When they have all sold, bargain hunters will have to offer to buy at 3.22 and hope to be filled. The savvy ones will queue and take some first at 3.23 so as not to miss the boat. Wilmar is in the midst of restructuring its China entities in preparation for listing. The restructuring is on track for completion by end of the year. Thereafter, Wilmar would need to prepare one full-year of financials (FY18) before filing for IPO application in FY19. Wilmar is expected to file for IPO earliest in 1H19. With a listing cap of 23x PE, there is potential to unlock value in Wilmar and newsflow may drive its share price closer to its potential listing date. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	3.20 appears to be holding up. More and more bulls are now convinced yesterday' s cheap sale below 3.20 was a One Day Special and is over. Yesterday, trading experience told me that when a good counter is hammered down due to weak sentiments only and nothing else, that type of weakness is temporary and shortlived and that when the panic selling by weak holders ends, the recovery will begin. That was why I queued to buy at 3.17 and when the price moved up without filling my order, I followed the price up to queue higher but took some first from the sellers to book my seat on this train. Having been left behind before, I knew that I had to take a calculated risk to grab some first. Grab some, not all. That way, if I am wrong and the price heads back down, I will still have ammo to average down. But if I am right and the price continues to firm up, I will be in the money. And I can always add more positions on the way up. Adding on the way up is always better than adding on the way down. When you add on the way down, what you buy today is worth lesser tomorrow. Can be distressing. But when you add on the way up, what you buy today is worth more tomorrow. Very encouraging. When I started typing this message, she was at 3.20 : 3.21. Now 3.22 : 3.23 ler. CHEONG arrrrr .... Mrs Flintstones !!!

The qoq jump in earnings was mainly due to strong oilseeds & grains sales volume and significant improvement in margins. However, yoy performance was dragged down by the tropical oils division. We remain positive on Wilmar&rsquo s long-term outlook on the expectation of a strong performance from the oilseeds & grains division. Maintain BUY. Target price: S$4.10.
