Agree with you. The serious threat is coming mainly from Qatar and the Emirate. Qantas is improving after the revamping but not a threat. I thought SIA is a stakeholder in Qantas too. I might be wrong. Even if the fuel charges are being pealed off one by one, SIA still has the cash ($4billion) advantage. In the previous quarters, the burdens on SIA were, high exchange rate of the S$, Tiger and operating costs. All these seem to be improving. The SIA name is well recognized and new aircrafts are on the way. I still believe that SIA will fly high. Just need to have more patience. |

Airlines slowly remove fuel oil surcharge 1 by 1. SIA is lossing their customers 1 by 1. By March, all airlines properly remove their fuel oil surcharge and all compete at the same line. No advantage for SIA at all. Look at what they reported in previous quarter result, they are facing strong competitions in the regions from Qatar, Emirates, Qantas and etc who offer newer plane and better facility with cheaper price. Who will win when the economic is stagnant or going down?

Don' t worry, it is OK. There are several reasons: 1) the EU' s coming QE 2) Greece coming election. SIA will fly. Just consider the following positives. a) the 60% hedge @$110 will end this coming March. Currently, 40% of the flying fuel is at market price. b) the S$is tanking vis-a-vis the US$, Chinese Yuan, HK$. It will be more S$ when foreign profits are remitted back to Singapore. c) Indian JV is flying d) Negative factors related to Tiger are, more or less, all known. e) cheaper air fuel will affect SIA, Silk Air, Scoot and Tiger. Unless there is/are some other hidden problems, SIA will fly, not only fly but will fly very high. Allow time for those odd lots be totally absorbed and SIA will fly. Just be patient |

don' t think so, this ' lot' change apply to all counter, not only SIA... probably due to the december 2014 operating result. |

TRUTH!!!! God caused the plane to crash and kill so many people......and that is a present from God? What God is that? By all means say what you have to say but why bring God into picture.
