DBS downgrades StarHub to &lsquo fully valued&rsquo sees recovery only from FY2027 DBS downgraded StarHub to &lsquo fully valued&rsquo , projecting a 2.5% drop in consumer revenue next year due to premium customers migrating to lower-priced SIM-only plans. StarHub plans to raise capital expenditure to 13% to 15% of revenue, focusing on cybersecurity and network retooling, with enterprise investments expected to drive revenue growth in FY2027 and FY2028.

This was in the FY2024 investor deck on FY2025 outlook - EBITDA expected to remain stable YoY and Cost optimisation should drive new cost-efficient models by harvesting new IT and Network platform built, in line with shift in focus from "build-and-invest" to "harvest" phase of its transformation efforts.
Also their "Strong commitment to drive long term total shareholder return" includes investing in organic & inorganic growth (what did they invest? MyRepublic?). Returning capital to shareholders via dividends (pay you 3cts but share price dropped 11cts) or share buy-back (0 share bought back in 2025) That's the real outlook.

2025 should mark the end of DARE+ and FY2026 should be the Harvest year according to Starhub but instead, they dropped the earning guidance by 20-25%, what a surprise to spring before CNY!
