That is because of the roll over of the monthly futures contract. And the " continuous quote" just get roll over to the next month price. If you really want to monitor if the price rise or fall (real price movement), monitor the contracts for say few months down from now, Dec, Jan, Feb futures. In general, coal pricing is higher nearer the end and beginning of each calandar year. And that is already known few months back when such future dated contracts are transacted. So monitor all the futures contracts for real price movement, and not the " continuous quote" . And based on above, the real price movement is around -$0.50 to +$1.08 (depending on which monthly future contract) and not +$2.42 per the continuous quote. But to each individual' s understanding and interpretation.

Most people are banking on the billion dollar payout after June 2025. TPs ranging fro 80c-$2 have been thrown out here and there. Well and good. But will the takeover at 40-50c occur prior to the bonanza profits. Have to wait and see. Good luck to all. |

The carrots should be still be there for the long run. As an estimate with assumptions, the possible cost saving in the shipping fee from left to right pocket, might be able to cover back the EPS dilution, except there is clear conflict of interest at this time, and buying at a very high price. Just opinion.
Let wait for any Geo management update. Hope for the best. DYODD. |

think bbs whole day collecting 36/36.5. Their buy at 36 is huge at 2.5m sh. at this rate my guess is by next fri, geo might rebound to 38.0c , unless bbs eager to push higher to 40 or so. anyway, just opnn, dyodd.
