The SH only have 12% plus proxies, the other major shares hold by management, their proxies, Dato , Datin  and Towkays  plus  retail investors like us...if we don' t want Blumont to file for Cap 13 , the Dato ,Towkay, Management  and we all should be able to fenced off the SH.... (I think only)

Seems like as of the rights announcement they didn' t even have any substantial shareholder support yet. Sure they will be there? This board appears to have only 180mil share support from the results of the last EGM.

 


NON-UNDERWRITTEN

The Company intends to undertake the proposed Rights Issue on a non&ndash underwritten basis in view of the savings in costs by the Company in respect of no underwriting fees. However, the Company will be approaching its substantial shareholders to obtain undertakings from them to subscribe for and/or procure the subscription of their respective pro rata entitlement to the Rights Shares. As and when the Company has secured any such undertakings, it will update Shareholders accordingly in an announcement.

I wonder if the single largest shareholder with more than 10% of total shares who rejected the last rights issue call for an EGM to make things interesting again.

Under the circumstances, creditors should not push hard on the company but be sympathetic. Helping the company to recover is helping themselves.

For forgiving some debts, they can save livelihoods.   They can look at the ways the US government has done to help ailing companies hit by the 2008 economic crisis.   Provide bailouts and eventually enjoy the outcome of prosperity in the later years, lol.. How to do it?   They must think how to help the company, hahaha.
