Oxley was doing company buy-back in the last 2 days. 300,000 shares at $0.41 (total turnover for the day = 908,100 shares) 850,000 shares at $0.40 - 0.41 (total turnover for the day = 3572,900 shares) |

Mr Ching is really a dare-devil. I believe he' ll come good in the end. Slogged his way to success n took great calculated risks. My problem with him was more the seemingly elevated px he was prepared to pay for sites. But he has prevailed. High risks high return for him. Well, he' s Mr Shoebox. But many who bought his idea also made great returns. So, instead of bashing him, I think many people out there may have to have him to thank. My view only.

big boss just focus more on paying himself tens of millions as salaries.. Whats so good about this company? Not transparent at all the pay structure. Now with record profit, maybe he will have record salary and bonus. Look at LB as a proxy, both are good at paying themselves. |

A controversal stock for quite some time .... " shoebox" dominium concept, high gearing, wide spread of property investments overseas .... This round, Mr. Ching has gained some respite from his critics by reporting a 162% jump in net profit yoy, driven mainly by progressive revenue recognition from 8 of its residential and mixed development projects in Singapore. While net gearing has fallen, it still remains high at > 2x. RHB keep its BUY rating but lowers TP to $0.85. Only time can tell how good are their forecast this time.

Ok la.. To be fair.. May be Oxley has dropped to a can buy price level... I don' t know.. But.. I went to dig out the RHB report on Oxley... The one dated 21 August 2014. It forecast profit after tax and minorities 303m for 2014 and 118m for 2015 financial years. The annual report says 287m for 2014 and 60.9m 2015 financial years. I think RHB should have at least revised their target price lower.. Their may 2016 Singapore Daily still put 91 cents target price... |

Nobody will buy oxley shares one la... Oxley medium term note the latest one that pay 5.15% one.. Bank lend you money to buy the note.. at low interest rate.. Can zhng ur return to 10% a year. Even if bond price drop, can hold until Oxley pay back. Buy the share instead die until like mad.. To be fair, the article was only reporting on RHB report.. But if you follow the report and buy from 2014.. By now you lose 40% of your money liao, while bondholders just collect 10%... Even if Oxley cannot afford to pay, they will issue new shares to pay the bond or refinance at higher rate. Cos cannot default. |

London property px dropping. This one to me a bit shaky. I' d prefer Aspial ..... I think this Oxley, Aspial n Fragrance are all friendly parties though.
