Just an indication of how shrewd the top 2 shareholders of Leader Env are.
Both Dr Lin and Pan Shu Hong have struck gold again (First goldmine was Citi Env). Each holds 12.67% and 10.84% of Sunpower which has just announced over the weekend the sale of its entire M&S business for RMB 2.29 bil in cash. Hope they will bring their expertise to transform Leader into another giant waste management company ! |

APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER The board of directors (&ldquo Board&rdquo ) of Leader Environmental Technologies Limited (&ldquo Company&rdquo , and together with its subsidiaries, &ldquo Group&rdquo ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Lin Yucheng as the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from 1 January 2021. Dr Lin is an entrepreneur who founded and invested in a spectrum of environment-related businesses in the last 30 years. He founded CITIC Envirotech Ltd (CEL, formerly known as United Envirotech Ltd which was listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange in 2004) and successfully groomed it into a billion-dollar market capitalization company. Under his leadership, CEL became a fully integrated environmental solution provider and attracted the support of world-class investors such as KKR and the CITIC Group. Dr Lin&rsquo s success and vast experience in the environmental business will bring keen insights and fresh perspectives to the Group. The Board is confident that his appointment as Executive Chairman will spur new developments and add further depth and diversity to the Board&rsquo s collective experience and skills. Dr Lin received his Ph.D degree from Imperial College, London. He was the Advisor to the Singapore government on Singapore&rsquo s environment and water industry. In addition, the Board also appoints Mr Lim Kuan Meng, currently an Independent NonExecutive Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee, to assume the role of the Lead Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr Lin Baiyin will relinquish his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and remains as an Executive Director of the Company. |

Insider Lee Suan Hiang bought 423,100 Leader @ $0.05964 on 2nd September 2020. Interesting character. Is he the same guy below or is it just same name? Mr Lee Suan Hiang was previously Deputy MD of Economic Development Board and CEO of SPRING Singapore, National Productivity Board, Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research and National Arts Council. He was also Chairman of PSB Corporation and Deputy Chairman of Old Parliament House Ltd and International Federation of Arts Councils & Cultural Agencies. He is currently President of EDB Society Chairman of Anacle Systems, Global Cultural Alliance and Arts Fund Committee and an independent director of several listed companies. He was awarded the National Day Public Administration Gold Medal, World Academy of Productivity Science Award, World SME Association Award, JETRO Award, Chevalier de l&rsquo Ordre des Arts et Lettres and NTUC Friend of Labour and Meritorious Service Awards.
