SGX needs a holistic long term plan. I can bet you if SGX hires two teams of part-timers picked from this forum to get ideas, our market will be noticeably better in a few years' time. But then again, we won' t be paid millions, so why share our ideas?

Some advice for punters and beginners. It' s better to buy ES3 when it' s cheap. You get higher dividend and returns> interest over cpf. Rather than to throw money into penny stocks , lol. | ||||

Sgx should start to rank companies in terms of some yardsticks such as Profitabilities, Share price, dividends, management response..... like a football league. Companies like cwx will be ranked in the Assss League. We will have good companies in the ?premier league?. | ||||

I' m an old uncle and I don' t buy this type of stocks. The only people buying are the old shareholders of whatever the company was called previously, hoping to recoup their losses and innocent new shareholders (should be young ones without the memory baggage).

This company is a joke. It wants to manage other people&rsquo s money via CWX Investment and FIT Global, and yet cannot manage own share price. Which investor dares to put their money for CWX Investment and FIT Global for them to manage??? |

Let&rsquo s see how this share price move in the next few days and also the ones transacting and transaction pattern. Also, see its upcoming results (esp those of JV), annual report and AGM. We need to see if there are anything amiss or hard to explain. If anything that does not feel right, we should all raise this up to the relevant authorities for them to check. We should not be taken for a ride by SSHs and the management :-)

I have already written off this investment already. 0.5 cent or 0.1 cent does not make much difference to me. But I really want to find out what&rsquo s going on, just for my interest sake. I really hope the authorities will check if there is anything amiss with the management, SSHs and other key stakeholders, and take action if so. I will write to them. But need a few more investors to do so at the same time in order for them to take action la :-) | ||||

1. Arctos (I think it just changed its name recently) is led by Wang Yat Foo, whom CWX called " an investment veteran" . Honestly, I am not sure. Wong Yat Foo is also one of the guys who underwrote CWX' s rights issue. However, because he did not buy more than 5%, he is not a SSH and thus, CWX does not need to disclose whether he had actually sold CWX shares recently. 2. At the upcoming AGM, need to ask the company if Wang Yat Foo or Arctos had sold their shareholdings in CWX. If they had indeed sold, then this JV venture with Arctos is indeed strange, to say the least. We should also be able to find this out in the annual report as well. 3. CWX' s share price has been on a downward trend (1.5 cents to 0.5/0.6 cent) since its announcement that it is forming a JV with Arctos (this was even before the right issue). None of the big investors, other than the Chairman Cheong Weixiong, who bought the rights at 9 cents are entering to buy more/show support. I find this strange too. If you think CWX is worth it at 9 cents, wouldn' t it be very attractive at 5/6 cents? 4. We should not only look at Arctos, but also FIT Global (the JV venture) and CWX Investments (CWX' s investment subsidiary). We need to find out if the investments made by these 2 entities are into any of the companies related to the key shareholders of CWX, Wang Yat Foo, Cheong Weixiong, etc etc. There is always the possibility that some SSHs make their back via the investments of FIT Global and/or CWX Investments (into their companies or companies related to them). I do not know for sure, all I hope is the relevant authorities can check to ensure no related or doubtful transactions. In the open, all I know is CWX investments had invested $1m in Acromec, another Catalist-company. Not sure if Acromec is linked to any of the SSHs. 5. The relevant authorities should also look into the people who bought and sold CWX shares over the last few months. While Cheong Weixiong came in to support by buying some shares, is anyone related to him selling on the other side? Also, which other shareholders related to SSHs sold (the SSHs themselves did not sell, as there were no announcements)? Cheong Weixiong is more of a trader (look into his CV), rather than someone who can lead a company properly. His track record at his other company Sinjia Land is not good too. 6. Last but not least, there are obviously people trying to push CWX share price down. For example, small sale of shares at 0.5 cent when there was no queue at 0.6 cent a few days back. Now there is a queue at 0.6 cent, and knowing recent pattern, 0.5 cent might break, as some people sell out of fear, benefitting the big boys who buy on the cheap. 7. How are the SSHs making money out of this? a. They do not care about share price, as they make money back from the investments of FIT Global and CWX Investments. CWX lent $6.5m to FIT and also invested $1m cash in it. b. They are intentionally letting share price go down, so that they can buy on the cheap. All in all, CWX definitely has all the " ingredients" of a questionable company and I really hope the relevant authorities can check, to find out if anything is amiss or give the company a clean bill of health.
