SGX query liow.....they seemed to be very edgy whenever share px move up.....trying very hard to kill sentiment??....what will happen to our Stock market????....they try very hard to make our market as dead as a dodo!!!.....pathetic lot...

Halcyon Agri 1Q14 net profit slumped 77% to US$352,000 while revenue fell 18.7% to $40.8m, mainly on lower ASPs, where revenue per tonne of rubber decreased 29.8% to US$2,127 y/y. This was partially offset by increase in sales volume by 15.9% to 19,161 tonnes. Gross margins also fell 1ppt to 7% due to the lower ASPs. |

Growth booster from M& A. Through M& A, Halcyon has significantly raised its midstream rubber processing capacity. Nevertheless, we think the group is not resting on its laurels and will consider more M& As should the opportunity arise. We expect the group to be more selective after its recent completion of several asset purchases.
We have a BUY recommendation and a target price of S$0.92/share (based on a peer sector average PE of 10x). |
