I think it means when you subscribe and make payment you must have at least 1000 rights (entitled) in your CDP account. Any short fall means you have renounced and not entitled for excess.

It' s clearly stated renouncees, mean those start to sell away their rights cannot apply for excess.

i just read my circular received today, for the avoidance of doubt, only entitled shareholders (and not purchasers or the renouncees of entitled shareholders) shall be entitled to apply for additional rights shares in excess of their provisional allotments of rights shares. meaning those who sold all their shares before ex-rights and bought the rights on market shall not be entitled to apply excess rights shares rights? thanks

I think it meant that so long you are original (entitled) shareholder, you can apply for excess. Say you are entiled to 1000 rights & sold 900 rights, you still can apply for 100 rights share + any excess you may wish to apply. If you are not original shareholders, you can only subscribe to the no. of rights that you bought from the market. Say you bgt 1000 rights, you could only subscribe to 1000 rights share & cannot apply for any excess.

Sembmarine back on track with Karish project offshore IsraelClose to completion: the floating production storage and offloading vessel in Sembcorp Marine' s Admiralty Yard in Singapore that is destined for the Energean-operated Karish gas development offshore Israel.In its latest consolidated financial report, Energean said that it is targeting mid-2022 for the project to start shipping first gas from the Mediterranean Sea project.
The schedule is based on the sailaway of the Karish FPSO from Singapore during the first quarter of next year (Last update from Sembmarine was completion in April....seems project progressing smoothly), a 35-day transit to Israel, and a three-month hook-up and commissioning process. The FPSO was 91.5% complete at 31 July and as of the end of August, there are more than 1700 people working on vessel in Singapore, Energean said This piece of good news was immediately taken down by Upstream Energy minutes after it was published. Seems like the Shortist is spending quite some money to control the new flow of Sembmarine for his intended purpose. It is truly a dark world out there. |

Sembmarine' s biggest debtor ' Borr Drilling' Wins Drilling Work in Southeast AsiaSeptember 2, 2021 
Offshore drilling company Borr Drilling said Thursday it had secured a letter of award for its jack-up drilling rig Mist. The deal is with an unnamed operator in Southeast Asia, and the drilling program is set to begin in November 2021. Subject to final confirmation, the contract will be for seven months, plus extension options. " The net start-up cash cost for the rig is expected to be $1.75 million. This LOA, which is expected to be converted into a contract shortly, will increase the company&rsquo s contracted fleet to 15 rigs," Borr Drilling said. The Mist is a KFELS Super B Bigfoot Class, built in 2013. The rig has been warm stacked in Malaysia. The drilling deal news comes just days after Borr Drilling said it had recently won awards for two offshore rigs in West Africa. The news flow for Sembmarine keeps getting better.

In fact come to think of it, I think it is not really a grey area cos if we didn' t read properly and start to sell our right even by a bit, we cannot apply for excess right share then that when TH come in and scoop up all the excess shares at 0.08. That why TH is the back up ? Maybe i wrong but anyway.... will only know when excess share is allocated or not.... cheers and thanks everyone .

It kind of make sense. You sell part of your rights entitlement because you only want to subsribe partially. So cannot make profit twice by encashing your unwanted rights and then say you want excess right shares later.

Yes, it is the statement and I do a check in the word renouncees which came to the meaning of selling part or full of the rights is not entitled to apply for excess shares. That y I asking whether just it mean that even if we sell 100 entitled rights, we cannot buy excess shares ? Thanks

If based on this term , yes, renouncees cannot apply for excess! Purchasers also cannot.....this is important to note! But, this term didn' t specifically said if u renounced part of your rights you cannot apply for excess. A little grey area to me. I sold 640k of my rights. Balance 3,665 rights. I intend to subscribe the balance plus excess of of 225 units to give me a round figure of 433,000 units.
