Thanks. Interesting that Wong LL and Tan CT, for whatever reasons, both chose to sell those rights if 8.4c is a good buy. Being in senior mgm they should know what the good value of SMM is. I sense that they too believe 8c is not a good price to subscribe

Wong LL is a retired senior executive. Tan CT is the chief risk officer. He had 6mil rights. Sold 2mil so far. Likely not enough money to subsribe fully with the pay cut and having subsribed fully for the last year' s rights issue.

Sembmarine boosts workforce for Karish FPSOSep 3rd, 2021
 The FPSO Energean Power.
Offshore staff ATHENS, Greece &ndash Energean expects its Karish field development to deliver first gas in mid-2022, the company confirmed in its latest results statement. The FPSO Energean Power should depart for Israel in 1Q 2022, a 35-day voyage, with subsequent hookup and pre-first gas commissioning expected to take around three months. Energean is working with its contractors on measures to speed up the delivery schedule. Following agreement on a US$12-million incentivization payment by Energean to fabricator Sembcorp Marine last month, workforce numbers on the FPSO have increased by around 70%, to more than 1,700. So the cat is out of the bag..... Energean is willing to pay money to accelerate completion of FPSO to capitalise on the surging natural gas prices. |

Globally there is massive demand for clean energy and not so clean energy. So I don' t think we have to worry about if SMM can get good and profitability especially TH is still the major shareholders.

Sembmarine back on track with Karish project offshore Israel Close to completion: the floating production storage and offloading vessel in Sembcorp Marine' s Admiralty Yard in Singapore that is destined for the Energean-operated Karish gas development offshore Israel. 3 September 2021 8:01 GMT In its latest consolidated financial report, Energean said that it is targeting mid-2022 for the project to start shipping first gas from the Mediterranean Sea project.
The schedule is based on the sailaway of the Karish FPSO from Singapore during the first quarter of next year (Last update from Sembmarine was completion in April....seems project progressing smoothly), a 35-day transit to Israel, and a three-month hook-up and commissioning process. The FPSO was 91.5% complete at 31 July and as of the end of August, there are more than 1700 people working on vessel in Singapore, Energean said |

Likely only 20% or lesser are genuine transactions. The rest are likely fake queues, left hand to right hand type trades. Real sellers would start appearing en masse only above 9.0 cents or so.

Don't think you are going to get much from your excess Rights application because after Wednesday, it's likely BB will push the price up to ensure everyone subscribe, at least until September 13. Once the new shares are credited and start trading on September 22, got to be careful. In fact few days before September 22. Some who bought low at 8.2 may take profit. Probably take a short while to clear all these scalpers before the share can hit higher and higher. I think only, might be wrong as well. But I am cautiously optimistic because at 8.2 cents, you can't make money, who can? To begin with, this share should not even be 8.5 cents if the investment banker officers didn't SCREWED UP BIG TIME, intentionally or unintentionally, by pricing the Rights at a historical whopping 60% discount to the market price. That led to a vicious cycle of continuous selling till around 8.3 cents. However, the past is no longer around, try to capitalize on the current opportunity. Every big crisis present big opportunity.

Buy the rights and exercise at 8 cents. In any case, buying the share now at 8.5 cents now also ok if you don't want to go through the hassle. Difference of 0.2 cents is really immaterial. I hope by January, you should be coming with joy
