You heard of Midas? Anyway, just saying in general in the context of SGX listed counters (not specifically with any particular counter in mind), it seems as if some of our locals see how s-chips have been succesfully scamming(?) retail investors with little to no repercussions from the authorities, they also want a slice of the action? 肥 水 不 流 外 人 田 ？

One example of Vitamin C facial serum (10 ml bottle I think):
Cost price $10.00. If you buy it from aesthetic doctor it will cost $95.00. From BW channel, I am not sure but will at least be $30 plus. Beauty business is a fat Lucrative business but I will be keen to see how they address the media answers. This forum seems getting out of hand. from sgx company announcements, BW did a bonus issue of 1 for 4 back in 2016. it did a stock split into 2 back in 2017. so last traded price of $2.71 means it is actually worth a min of $5.42 better than singtel, starhub, wilmar, capitalland, slightly lower than Kep Corp, Huat Arhhhhhhhh.

the bosses have PBM titles, Sporeans but once you enter the China market, its operations smell like s-chip. The bosses are ' protected' by their unlimited contributions (PayBigMoney) if if if there is foul smell. If their beauty and cosmestic products are so well known why never find their counter at big shopping centres eg CKTang, Metro, Bugis etc instead at an old beach road shopping centre.

This share should not classify as S chip as the boss are singaporean , their HQ is in SG . The company is debt free and cash rich, if really deep drop is a good chance to accumulate. | ||||

Trading halt on Best World shares extended by up to two daysTHE trading halt on Best World International' s shares has been extended by up to two days, for the company to finalise and release a clarification. The trading halt may be lifted no later than 8.30am on Feb 25, the company said in a filing on Thursday. It had requested a trading halt on Feb 18, 2019, 11.23am. In response to a Feb 18 BT article &ldquo Sales of DR&rsquo s Secret in China: Best World&rsquo s best-kept secret?&rdquo , which discussed the difficulties of tracking the company' s strong sales in China, Best World said: &ldquo The company would like to assure its shareholders that it has conducted all areas of its business ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards.&rdquo Best World shares slid 54 Singapore cents or 16.6 per cent to S$2.71 on 8.69 million shares traded before trading was halted on Feb 18. Before Monday, shares in the skincare maker and distributor soared 171 per cent over the past 12 months, driven by strong growth in China, where it has moved away from an export business model to a franchise one. It has been queried by the Singapore Exchange nine times since April 2016 for unusual trading activity, the most recent being on Feb 7, when the counter gained 8.57 per cent in one day on no obvious news flow. |

If i am not vested, i will be glad that i did not buy bcos of current negative sentiment and uncertainty, I will never regret not buying before the trading halt.
