Digi banks will grow in the near future but not just yet since the economy is still recovering from the pandemic. Russia vs Ukraine war is still on going. USA vs China still on their economy war. Now US have targeted on delisting more China companies from the NYSE and NASDAQ. China and Japan have yet to open up to the world. So hopefully by mid of next year, we will see a bullish market. Current market trend, investors have not much confidence as inflation is creeping in more countries.

Most, if not all of Temasek major companies are forward looking ... surely utilise Digital Banking facilities .. a decisive AND rapid transformation to stay relevant. Indonesia and Malaysia will follow suit. | ||||

I can safely say even when Singtel goes to $3.50 to $4.00 one day, there will be plenty of " experience traders" will still be barking loudly telling the whole world to sell. When you do your own DD, nothing should influence any of your decisions. Sell or buy, it is your own free will. As I mentioned before, be street smart and be selective on what you read. Do not take forum words too seriously and take it with a pinch of salt. Still it is a good learning curve for newbies on not to fall victim! This is not a financial advise.

If Singtel need money , it could go for script dividend and disposal non core assets. Unlike many reits, Singtel has never any right shares. Let's wait for end of the months to know the outcome. Digital banking is disruptive in natural. If Singtel is able to manage it well, the sky is the limit. If Singtel is still a Telco company today, i will not put money in it.
