CMA NOL stake currently at 2.32%, combined with temasek stake would be able to hit over 70% when offer out in 2q. It setting up nicely for good show and drama, this should ease fear on CMA abandoning deal on bad market |

I participate in this lending scheme , i make extra pocket monies and at the same time , know which counters have short position . For NOL , if anti trust approve , believe short selllers will cover their positions . Will it cross 1.30 ??? |

Unless u agree to lend out ur shares then u will need to apply to lend out ur shares. Without applying, will cdp be able to do so without ur consent/ arrangements?

Got see wrongly ? CPF or CDP? CPF they used your money to buy stocks, gold..etc When did CDP becomes CPF? But if real must pay interest like CPF

Don worry too much about ship, recession this year had been taken into consideration that why offer is 1.30 and temasek wanna cma to secure bank support before agreed to offload. The big show would go as planned and we should see how cma deal with 30% retail approval compared to crappy SIA handling of tigerair |

CMA cant call off the deal without a good reason if all conditions are met. CMA will have to compensate 100 millions to temasek. | ||||

wondering if CMA would really be interested now... after seeing the recession ... :) it could be that they purpously get their deal rejected ? any ideas guys... should we simply sell offf at current levels and get out ? are not we taking huge risk for 0.6 point increase ?

Actually cma offer not on table yet so not much show, the show would begin in 2q stay tuned. CMA would be under pressure to take NOL private for merger and cost cutting, cannot afford to fail as they take on billion debt not to end up to be temasek replacement |

CMA is taking advantage on present weak market sentiment to "fish out" as many weak holders as possible & only bid up to 1.24/1.245 so far.
This is good for strong holders as it will give them more leeway to bid up the offer to buy out those "hardcore" cpf holders. |

Well CMA had lot of experience in taking over companie, they more flexible since don need to answer to public unlike temasek. Just need antitrust approval then they can kick start bid war to delist nol |

If less than 5%, in 2004 temasek would has succeed in delisting it with 2.80 instead of just 67%. It more like 30% hardcore CPF investors diehard |
