x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	As I read on YZJSB, I realised their order book is until mid 2027 the latest, while Seatrium order book is until 2030. A diiference of estimate 3 years to complete their order book. YZJSB therefore will have a better revenue quarterly and yearly than Seatrium despite Seatrium has slightly bigger order book. Just to share with all their difference. Rightstock      ( Date: 03-Aug-2024 10:06) Posted: Market capitalisation of  Yangzijiang  is around $10 billion and Seatrium $5 billion.  Order book of Yangzijiang is around $22 billion and Seatrium $26 billion. Yangzijiang specialises in building container ships, bulk tankers and oil tankers mainly in China whereas Seatrium is specialise in oil rigs, FPSOs, energy platforms, renewable and new energies and have shipyards in US, Europe, Asia and South America. Does Seatium deserves a market capitalisation half of Yangzijiang when it has started to produce profits from its operations.

The group also bought back another 1.35 million shares at $1.4473 apiece on the same day. Since the group obtained its share buyback mandate at its AGM on April 26, the group has bought 6.05 million shares from the market, bringing the total number of treasury shares held to 6.9 million. now is the time. make is great again !!! Happy National Day n3wbie      ( Date: 08-Aug-2024 00:15) Posted: I am quite puzzled with their share buyback strategy and how it has been executed - it feels completely ad-hoc and they would benefit from a more systematic campaign such as that by CLI for instance. For now, it feels like they do it as and when which makes it look like a waste of equity and does not achieve the objective of shoring up market confidence. If it is not going to be strategically done, it is just a waste of shareholders funds which could otherwise be deployed to further par down debt given that the cost of some of their borrowings are elevated at 6%.
