EmmGru      ( Date: 30-Apr-2017 14:15) Posted: Yes my broker told me as long as suspension is temporary, as soon as trading starts, contra longists have to sell in the ' morning' . No fixed time except I suppose dun drag until after lunch. The contra longists still get to sell by themselves, the broker won' t do it for them. So contra longists still got time to queue to sell etc... try to make the best of things. Did not hear abt the trading account suspension. All contra longists should call their brokers and ask. If any contra longists want to pay up for their shares, the broker has to receive the money by morning of the day trading starts to avoid force sell. Full payment of the buy contract unless want to do partial payment / partial pick up of the shares then need to inform broker in advance then they do a manual adjustment for u. Giro deduction takes 2 days so not in time to do Giro if resume trading on Tues. Need to pay cash or cheque as cashier counter.   KopRed75      ( Date: 30-Apr-2017 14:04) Posted: By the way, I was told that contra longists can still sell their shares on their own when the suspension is lifted without financial penalty except that the brokerage house concerned will suspend your trading account for a week. Those affected may want to check with your respective brokers. If true, the shortists will be the only ones feeling the pain if Alliance Mineral combine all the good news for announcement before lifting the suspension. That will be a really masterstroke by the management if this comes true.

Guy 1: " Psst...guys, let us keep it secret and buy shares back..." Guy 2: " But where we going to get money to buy the shares? We used it for the exploration" Oh that right, money grows on trees it seems and can be plucked anytime. if that case why sell stake in first place...
