So if AMAL trying to negotiate something with Mitsubishi (a Japanese firm) that requires head office in Japan to be involved then may not be as simple as picking up the phone and getting an immediate nod of head. AMAL may have been negotiating last week going into this week but as Golden Week in Japan where many go holiday etc the speed of finalizing something may not be as simple as we think. And the May Day holiday today here would not help if they needed to get the company sponsor to review something or local lawyers.

Tawana did not suddenly make the announcement of the offtake agreement and lift the TH immediately did they? Rather, they requested a suspension as in addition/flow-on of the offtake they were pursuing the capital raising. So Tawana was tying several associated items together at once. So why it so hard to believe that AMAL also trying to finishing something that is a flow-on from the offtake and they looking to announce everything at once, and do not want people trading position to be impacted if related news released at different times. Let us assume they make off-take announcement and lift the TH and price shot up 15%. You an existing shareholder decide to take profit and sell your stake. Then the next day they make an announcement to something of the impact that as a result of the first off-take they negotiated a separate agreement that will ensure all cash flow funding and profit AMAL a huge revenue boost in 2017. As a result of second announcement price climbs 50%. Hey, too bad for you as you already sold. If you sold immediately after first announcement and lifting of TH are you not going to be rather annoyed that if the two announcements were related, why did they not announce them together? None of us know precisely what they are negotiating, why they negotiating and so forth. But whilst it suspended the share price neither going up or down. So unless in a rush relax. The announcement will come and when it does judge on the merits then to see if suspension valid or not. But on same side need to balance that against the progress (getting funding, getting an off-take etc). So it is moving along rather than grounding to a halt. Caution to be taken that hurdles to be faced, but do not cast aside without considering what is happening which is more or less moving in time with the timeline to get it producing...waiting for key disclosures (FS, JORC etc) so know more and can see progress...
