Company has cash in consolidated accounts, are these money in the Singapore listed company' s bank account or in China' s subsidiary? Will wait for the special audit or review to provide a better picture on the accounting treatment on how the company recognises sales revenue.

I believe past profit were real, so BW likely paid their taxes. However, the mkt is interested in future profit, franchisee' s biz model, sustainability. So taxes have no bearing on how this will unfold imo. So if the franchisees are really operating as MLM, then its unlikely to be legally sustainable. There is a difference between direct selling and MLM in china. Moreover, BW' s DS licence only cover health products, not skin care Dr Secret. China biz took off after BW obtained the DS. Actually when they transitioned from export to Franchise model, there is no fundamental change in the way distributors sell, only change of importing agent. So how can the revenue jump so much within 1/2 quarter? The importing agents have been selling all along years before the franchise model change. There is possibility that Franchisees taking advantage of the DS license and operate MLM, though its the authority job to investigate. There are many recent examples in China of such cases. We can also see that DS in Taiwan are slowing down after initial surge. |

Natural Cool also kena previously...funny The Article fails to include Mr. Joseph Ang& rsquo s reason for not providing his comments When Mr. Joseph Ang was asked by the writer of the Article for certain comments and explanations which related to the subject matter of the Outstanding Claims, he had categorically informed her that he could not comment as the matter was before the High Court of Singapore and therefore, was sub judice. The Article did not include the reason provided by Mr. Joseph Ang for declining to comment.
