The video, which included music from the group Linkin Park, disappeared from the president's Twitter feed late Saturday with the notification: "This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner." Twitter removed the video, which Trump had retweeted from White House social media director Dan Scavino, after it received a Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice from Machine Shop Entertainment, according to a notice posted on the Lumen Database which collects requests for removal of online materials. Machine Shop is a management company owned by the rock band Linkin Park, according to its LinkedIn page. We respond to valid copyright complaints sent to us by a copyright owner or their authorised representatives, a Twitter representative said in an email statement. Twitter began challenging Mr Trump's tweets in May and has repeatedly clashed with him since. The social media company has several times disabled or commented on tweets by the president because of what it said were copyright complaints or violations of a policy against threatening violence. Twitter removed an image the president tweeted on June 30, which included a picture of Mr Trump, because of a complaint from the New York Times, whose photographer had shot the image. The company also put a tweet from the president behind a warning label in late May, saying that he had violated its rules against (glorifying violence) when he advocated that Minneapolis authorities be tough in responding to protests over the death of George Floyd. Another Study Finds Hydroxychloroquine Ineffective Against Covid-19?As Trump Continues To Hype It By Matt PerezForbes Staff I I TOPLINE Hydroxychloroquine was an unsuccessful treatment for non-hospitalized people showing early symptoms of Covid-19, according to a study published in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine, further evidence of the drug?s ineffective use against the coronavirus despite the Trump administration?s continued endorsement of the treatment. KEY FACTS In a randomized study held between March 22 and May 20 by researchers at the University of Minnesota, 491 patients were given either a placebo or hydroxychloroquine within the first four days of showing symptoms for Covid-19, differing from previous studies that were conducted after hospitalization. While the researchers found patients experiencing symptoms for over two weeks was 6% lower for the people taking hydroxychloroquine, there were no significant differences in hospitalization and death rates. Additionally, people taking hydroxychloroquine experienced far more side effects than those taking a placebo, with 43% of the former group reporting symptoms versus 22%. The study comes amid a renewed push by the Trump administration for the Food and Drug Administration to grant another emergency authorization for the drug, with President Trump and his trade adviser Peter Navarro promoting a study from Detroit?s Henry Ford Health System, one that experts have criticized. On June 15, the FDA revoked its emergency use authorization for the drug, following numerous studies that illustrated no benefits of its use with hospitalized patients. |

US Dow Notched 4 Day Winning Streak on Positive Vacine News By Yasin Ebrahim
The Dow notched its fourth-straight daily gain on Wednesday as positive vaccine news and earnings from banks boosted investor sentiment. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.85%, or 227 points, the S&P 500 gained 0.93%, while the Nasdaq Composite added 0.59%. Drugmaker Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) jumped 6.9% after reporting that its coronavirus vaccine candidate, mRNA-127, produced antibodies in patients aged 18 to 55, suggesting the treatment could protect against infection by the virus. Some on Wall Street, however, said it was too early to draw a conclusion from the early-stage clinical data. Many open questions obviously remain, including on immune response durability, and what the profile might look like in older adults, but we believe the data represent a good start, Chardan analysts said in a note. Covid-19 cases meanwhile continued to mount, led by virus hotspots across the U.S. including California, Arizona, Florida and Texas. California reported 11,000 new cases for Tuesday, up from about 7,000 a day earlier, with infections totaling 3.48 million nationwide. Still, the positive update on a vaccine helped boosted the reopening trade - bullish bets on stocks tied to the progress of the economic reopening ? supporting shares of travel and tourism companies. Financials, meanwhile, eased from session highs as Goldman Sachs pared some gains following a blowout quarterly report. Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS) rose 1.3% after reporting second-quarter earnings of $6.26, above consensus estimates of $3.90, led by strong performance in its trading division. Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) gave up some gains after rising more than 2% following an upgrade from Needham and reports that the tech giant had won a legal dispute over a $14.8 billion tax battle with the European Union. Needham upgraded its rating on the stock to $450 from $350, citing the value of its ecosystem. Energy continued its strong start to the week boosted by rising oil prices as data showing a larger-than-expected draw U.S. crude supplies offset worries over waning demand amid reports that some major oil producing nations are set to rein in production cuts.
