TRAVELLERS between Singapore and South Korea can now sign up for a " travel medicine pass" which gives them access to a comprehensive suite of medical services including pre-departure and on-arrival Covid-19 tests from Raffles Hospital and Myongji Hospital.

 

The partnership between Raffles Hospital - a wholly owned subsidiary of Raffles Medical Group Raffles Medical: BSL -1.5% - and South Korea' s Myongji Hospital was launched to " create a safe and seamless international travel experience" , said Loo Choon Yong, executive chairman of Raffles Medical Group in a press statement on Monday (Dec 13).

 

Pass holders will get to enjoy priority access to medical treatments at medical facilities operated by the 2 hospitals in the event of medical emergencies during their overseas travel.

 

To sign up for the pass, travellers leaving Singapore for South Korea are to book their pre-departure travel Covid-19 tests through Raffles Medical Group' s RafflesConnect app.

 

Through the app, travellers will also be able to pre-book on-arrival Covid-19 tests at Incheon International Airport and access privileged service offered by Myongji Hospital.

 

On arrival in South Korea, pass holders will proceed to a Covid-19 test centre operated by Myongji Hospital.

 

Upon return to Singapore, travellers can fulfil their mandatory post-travel Covid-19 tests at designated Raffles Medical clinics islandwide.
