One way to stop the market from punishing a stock is to delist or hide it under a rich parent. Keppel Land, Tiger, M1...:: Some listed stocks cannot be acquired as regulatory approvals are required. Starhub is one. |

CEO given employee shares option ... he has to ensure Starhub profit rocket and share price rocket : The change in interests relates to the acceptance of the rights over 824,00 ordinary shares under a conditional share award granted pursuant to the StarHub Performance Share Plan 2014. The rights are subject to a 3-year performance period commencing from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2021. No shares will be delivered if the threshold performance targets are not achieved while up to 1.5 times the number of shares that are the subject of the award will be delivered if the performance targets are met or exceeded. |

Every Telco is affected by the declining revenue. Starhub is no exception, and Singtel is not spared. My 1G broadband is due for recontract next week. I checked the renewal price and was surprised to see a 50% reduction. What a reduction in 2 years! There is a hyper competetive market and technologies offered by the current 4G are the same. 僧 多 粥 少 is the cause of declining revenue. Being a smaller boat as compared to Singtel ocean-liner, Starhub has the advantage of moving into 5G for first mover advantage. Many, especially the corporate clients will switch for speed and new tecjnologies offered by 5G. The question is funding. |

The offer price by Starhub for the i phone is the highest among Singtel and M1. Hope it will not affect their coming result. More downside to come. Time will tell. | ||||
