Current TP 54 cents (At least this KGI doing a better job, taking into consideration the dilution before giving TP 34 cents) Info only. - - - - - KGI' s Valuation & Action We initiate Raffles Education with an  OUTPERFORM  recommendation at a  fully diluted TP of S$0.34  and a  current TP of S$0.54  using a DCF valuation methodology with a WACC of 8.0% and a terminal growth rate of 2.5%. Given the decline in debt levels and lower interest rates, should the Group&rsquo s profitability improve substantially onwards with potential increase in school fees.

Other alternative asset managers weighing bids for TPG-owned XCL include Blackstone and EQT, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information.  A transaction could value Singapore-based XCL at as much as US$1.5 billion, people familiar with the situation said previously. While the sale process is moving forward, considerations are ongoing and other bidders could emerge, the people said, adding that a decision on the buyer is unlikely until next year. Representatives for the private equity firms declined to comment. XCL has K-12 school campuses across South-east Asia, including XCL World Academy in Singapore, the American School of Bangkok&rsquo s Sukhumvit campus, and Vietnam Australia International School, according to its website. Its other shareholders include Temasek Holdings. XCL owns and operates several international schools, including XCL World Academy in Singapore, the American School of Bangkok and Vietnam Australia International School, according to its website.  Private money is pouring into schools in Asia as investors seek to profit from growing demand for quality education. Excluding China, firms closed US$6.4 billion of education deals across the Asia-Pacific last year, an increase of 25 per cent from 2023 and more than double the volume of six years earlier, according to data from LEK Consulting. Earlier this year, a consortium including asset manager Neuberger Berman bought a stake in Nord Anglia in a deal valuing the international school operator at US$14.5 billion including debt. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	You need to have a thorough understanding of the company' s business and liabilities. shk363      ( Date: 17-Dec-2025 11:35) Posted: very clever kgi issue report to boost the share price for the placement SmallSmall      ( Date: 17-Dec-2025 10:56) Posted: Placement of 10 mil shares @ $0.133 was done through KGI which was the brokerage that initiated the buy call of $0.54 Quite sure KGI placed the shares to longer term holders (unlike Hiap Seng placees who dumped the shares outright) otherwise it would be a big embaressement to the brokerage who initiated a buy call and then immediately do a  placement to casue a price crash. Placement Shares in my opinion has gone to friendly parties.
