My personal take is for glp to call for final bids with a specific deadline 30jun, it seems to suggest they are pretty confident and happy with an existing non binding bid back then . Which is likely from the Chinese.so GIC is highly likely to sell for a few reasons: 1) the reported unfair advantage that the Chinese have will still exist many years down the road, so the same issue will surface if GIC sells in future 2) GIC risks seeing glp share price retracing back to the $1.80 if the deal is off and investors knowing so much now about the unfair terms embedded in GLP China share structure 3) and for the above point that I mentioned on the calling for the specific deadline. Just some thoughts.

 Alert Admin 		Honestly, while i would have preferred Warburg to stay in the race, that they will be pulling out may not be that disastrous after all. At least it means the whole evaluation can be completed sooner since there is already a binding bid from the chinese consortium. Hoping now that gic makes a decision based on commercial considerations.

 Alert Admin 		Havent pull out ba. I think recently Cosco takeover of OOCL at very high price, despite shipping industry still very weak. Some more GLP is currently value quite cheap. Just hope for better result this quarter and within two months maybe can see something.

 Alert Admin 		Relax. Always before an official takeover or good news the price will drop. I think last month june and may got some big fund invested and become SS. Trust their judgement. They wont be so stupid to invest in a comapny with no returns.i think the takeover price will be at least 3 dollar. Just hold on and wait.

GLP Slips on Report Warburg Pincus May Pull Bid on China Concern...


 
Global Logistic Properties falls after FT reported that only two bidders submitted offers for the company last week, citing people familiar.
 
Warburg Pincus is one of the bidders but may withdraw if concerns about GLP&rsquo s China operations can&rsquo t be allayed.
 
Other bidder is consortium that includes GLP&rsquo s CEO and Hopu Investment.
 
Stock falls as much as 3.8% on 347% of 3-month average volume
