The new press release issued an interesting statement - " obtained exclusive rights of a patent to use and replicate the plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition machine (the &ldquo PECVD Machine&rdquo ) for producing low-k dielectric constant materials, and a type of production technology for manufacturing high thermal conductivity diamonds and aluminium composite materials. These materials are used in semiconductor manufacturing."
Semiconductor manufacturing will be another high lucrative segment.

What is the right way then?? Make many announcements, share price move, kena questioned by investors...Make no announcements, share price move, kena questioned by SGX.... Probably that' s y there are more delistings than listing on SGX

Company has come out with clarifications and while the latest development (patent) is nothing great right now, it shows that the Board of Directors continue to push ahead with the lab-grown diamond business. In my opinion, they also probably are aware that market is monitoring their execution hence they will be careful in making SGXnet announcements which the board (and sponsor) will have to approve... pls do your own dd.... |

The Company refers to the ' Trade with Caution Alert' statement (the ' Statement' ) released by Singapore Exchange Regulation Pte. Ltd. (' RegCo' ) on 20 January 2022 and notes that there was a significant decrease in share price of the Company on the following day. The Company wishes to highlight the following:- 1. After the release of the Statement, the Company undertook checks internally to ascertain if any member of the its board or management team was involved in the trading activities during the period reviewed by the SGX and procured confirmations from each of the board and management team members that they did not undertake any trading activities involving the Company during that period. 2. The Adviser of the Group, Mr Wu Yongqiang, who is also one of the substantial shareholders, had acquired the Company' s shares during this period on 19 November 2021 and 26 November 2021 as part of his long term investment. Such transactions were fully disclosed in the relevant announcements. Save for these transactions, no other trades were undertaken by Mr Wu during the period under review. 3. The fluctuations in the Company' s share price are a result of trading activities and market forces beyond the control of the Company. The Company wishes to clarify that, to the best of its knowledge, the Company does not know nor has it been made aware of the circumstance which had caused the movement in its share price and trading volume as highlighted by SGX-ST. However, the Company shall give its best support and assistance to SGX-ST in any further investigation. The Company will continue to keep its shareholders updated on any material information in compliance with Catalist Rule 703, the status of the business diversification (as described in the shareholders& rsquo circular dated 24 December 2021) and the changes in interests of its Directors and Substantial Shareholders. 4.
