It infinity shorting as borrowing cost is very low. As long bb can keep up the borrowing cost, it is unlimited trading range for them. Unless GO pop and stocks had to be returned then u see buyback. | ||||

If there is no covering of shorts, most likely is from borrowed stocks. Naked shorts have to be covered within the day. Otherwise, brokerage will buy back at market price for you.
