better if NOL can find a buyer for it liner division since now transpacific trade lane recovering and doing better due to strengthen US economy. Another shock liner divestment by NOL would turn the East Wind into Tornado mode lol. When that happen no need to do anything, just wait for the big fat special dividend for delisting. |

NOL continued its breakout on Thursday, this time adding 2.3%. The shares have added 8.9% in just two days. Investors continued to be bullish and bought 12M of call warrant NOL MB ECW160201 (ALKW, strike $1, +5.6%). Across two days, investors accumulated close to 14M of ALKW which surged 25.3% across the same period. |

East wind blowing nicely, later see if NOL can break 1.15 barrier. Post APLL divestment NOL NAV = US $1.02 so approx $1.38, transportation stocks currently trading at 1.1X P/B so tgt price for NOL is around $1.50+ lot of buffer zone for ship to move north and lot of trading opportunities. IF 1Q15 result turn out favourable meaning no more losses, ship might move to the 1.2-1.3X P/B range on expectation of profitable 2015 due to low oil price. 2H2015 is interesting for NOL due to expectation of profits and privatisation. |

Sadly profit taking set in last 30 mins of trade after it hit 1.12 high, it fall back to 1.105. closed 1.105 not bad, since we near the end of trading week. Tomorrow might weaken a bit more depending on how much short covering. Volume very decent hit over 40 mil + lol it the work of house traders pushing the ship from temasek order lol. NOL would move steadily north till 1Q15 result on middle May till we can play trade for like 3 weeks. target price is similar to what most house brokerage offer 1.30-1.50. Hope 1Q 15 result give a positive tune to NOL for further trading opportunities in June/July period. |
