And again expectations of post covid world will be that video conferencing software is here to stay. Seems likely that it will be used to enhance and even replace international business meetings and enhance flexible working arrangements. Gloves on the other hand, will be met with an over supply in 2022 or so. Big players like tg and rs wouldn't suffer that much considering their margins are higher than small players. Like many Bros here mentioned, clean room gloves are required and in demand... But that alone does not justify current share price of rs, so there is much further downside as the demand for gloves in general will drop. Investors are just pricing that in now. Why hold onto the hope that this stock may or may not go up another 10 or 20%, when they can take advantage of a post covid world where other airline /tourism/reit/bank/etc stock have much more upside? That is the belief on many investors minds right now. I dare say the dead cat bounce to 1.3x last week was the last time it would reach that point. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	My friends bought at 1.47... 1.38... 1.30. These are the prices I know becoz they mentioned them. I told them the same things... that COVID stocks could have peaked already...that you cant use strong demand for gloves as a catalyst to say the price will rally becoz the market already knows that and factored in ler... and that the only reason why this stock blasted to the Moon was becoz of speculative fever...but the monkey has left... and whether he will come back is the great unknown. One of them not only bought Riverstone but also UG Healthcare at higher prices which are all underwater now. Believe or not is up to you. But I wish my friends did not buy them. Then here, I also wont be saying that my friends bought them and are stuck. Becoz what I said here has nothing to do with whether my friends bought and are stuck. Whether they bought or not will not change what I said becoz what I said is not based on whether my friends bought or not. There is a bull monkey in this one. A bull monkey plays the stock UP. A katek monkey whacks the stock down. You remember Noble Group ? That one kena whacked left right and centre above and below even...by a katek monkey. Capitaland has a bull monkey. This stock is on its way up. The monkey will use brickwalls to block the price to prevent it from sliding. It is like this monkey puts a chair at the doorway and he sit there and snarls at whoever comes near and he show you his sharp teeth. As long as he is sitting there at that doorway, the price cannot retreat. He already accumulated alot at lower and he havent sold yet becoz his target price not reached yet. This PUMP, BLOCK and PUSH higher routine is a common feature in the price action when there is a monkey in the driver' s seat.

And those who did all HUAT bigtime.  But there is a catch when you play a stock which has a monkey - DO NOT OVERSTAY. You all know what I mean. No need for me to elaborate. The going is good for as long as the monkey is still driving the bus or flying the plane or piloting the rocket or whatever. But when the monkey has left the party, you must make your move too and head out the door. Dont hang around. Leave. The other category of stock we can still play is those which are loved by Tua Phows.  Making money in the market is all about stockpick and timing. First and foremost you must pick the right stocks. 2nd is timing. Stockpicks.... banks, the better REITs, the better STI-component stocks like ST Engrg, Capitaland etc. Keppel Corp used to be one such stock but in view of the world moving in a big way towards cleaner energy and away from fossil fuels, the rig building industry is a sunset industry. Hence if KepCorp dont look for other businesses to replace the loss of revenue coming from the building and sale of oil rigs, then KepCorp will be making the same mistake made by SPH. For decades, SPH had a monopoly on mass advertising. SPH had no competitors. Who would have known that its core business which was a big revenue spinner can be brought down to its knees by the internet ? That' s why SPH has no choice but to go into nursing home business and properties. They need to do alot alot more. One stock which has Tua Phows as fans is this one. . Look at this chart and you can see that over the last 10 years, if you pick any of her dips to buy heavily into it and just park your money there and collect dividends year after year, today, will your position be underwater or still in the money ? The reason why Ascendas REIT never fail to bounce back up and recover is each time she gets sold down by one group of Tua Phows for whatever reason, another group of Tua Phows will wait for the selling to end to pounce on her. When Tua Phows sell, it is not becoz this stock has become rotten. Tua Phows sell for various reasons... to cash out their capital gains... to meet fund redemption by clients... as part of their portfolio reshuffling...etc. This has nothing to do with the FA of this REIT. It does not mean the FA has taken a hit and that' s why Tua Phows are selling. At the same time, unless and until one group of Tua Phows sell their holdings, you wont see a weakness in the price. You wont have a chance to buy cheap. So whenever there is a group of Tua Phows moving out, it presents a buying opportunity for other Tua Phows to move in. What is poison for the Tua Phows selling is meat for the Tua Phows who are buying.  Which explains why when the selling ends, this stock will bounce back strongly and recover. Until it is time for yet another group of Tua Phows who think it is ripe for them to cash out. And the cycle repeats itself.  Can Riverstone do this bounce back up and go higher and higher for a period of 10 years such that you can just buy any of her dips and in time, you will be in the money ? Ask those who bought her at 1.80 when she fell from 2.00 to 1.80. Or those who bought at 1.60 when she fell from 1.80 to 1.60. Or even ask those who abstained from buying at 2.00 and waited for her to drop to 1.50 and then started buying. Ask them how they feel now about this stock, not how they felt when they bought. These people bought at whatever prices they thought was a good price becoz they thought the monkey will come back to drive the price back up. But have ? That' s why my recommendation is find a stock which has a monkey to play that stock. Dont buy a stock and then sit around and wait and hope that the monkey will come. It is a BUY-UP trade meaning the monkey bought 800 lots from the sellers in the SELL queue in one trade.  This one trade is a $2.624m trade. Cant be somebody' s grandpa or grandma quietly sitting at home in front of his/her laptop to make this trade bah ? And look at the market depth below. You can see a more than 1000-lots brick wall there to block the price. . The monkey is still collecting. Keep an eye on the BUY queue at 3.27.
