Not much money to make from trading on sia, it for long term investing and it should rebounce back to it book value on yearend window dressing. Enjoy the fat dividend next week on better profit due to cheap oil, unless more divestment happen and capital reduction then no big movement. Nice stock to invest on a low oil low growth economy, just enjoy the fat dividend. |

For UOB KE Singapore Airlines (SIA SP) Trading BUY Last price: S$10.38 Target price: S$10.70/11.30 Protective stop: S$9.92 Singapore Airlines closed higher yesterday at S$10.38, short of the Middle Bollinger Band and on a 6-month average volume in a long white candle. As the RSI is rebounding towards its overbought zone and the ROC has found support near the lows between August and September, we expect the stock to penetrate the Middle Bollinger Band soon to test the Upper Bollinger Band at S$10.70. If this resistance is taken out, the stock should attempt to refill the May downside gap before it tests the May high at $11.30 |

No problem, I am no expert but just giving my opinion. Short term resistance from my chart analysis is at 10.43. If it breaks that, chance to run to 10.75 (which is a major resistance point).

Thanks BBbull....not good at reading TA.....I can only read basic chart movements. I think I will hold out for higher TP to exit....probably 10.65-10.8.

Can go up based on technical analysis. Breakout now only, 10.50 too close to realise profits. Plus, expecting good dividend at year end. P/e only about 12

Sgx, sph all reported lower profit guess rest of sti index most likely, be grateful sia still made higher profit through lower jet fuel and oil hedge bet. The oil hedge policy helping sia in this low growth low oil economy, lower traffic lower revenue no problem profit only fatter quarter on quarter. Dividend gona be fatter in nov lol |

Don worry too much if u got holding power, everyday ah moh bank selldown then cover short before market. When real seller dry up, only direction is all the way up till 11.50 lol. SIA big cap few punter touch it and most investors are strong holding power. Not to mention SIA got 3b plus cash pile to pop up the share if needed. Now it just oct effect, banks and funds holding off till us election over.SIA stronger than sg bank considering the challenging business environment it faced and still best airline for over 20 years with huge cash pile behind it. |

SIA can buy & keep, during 911 it went down alot and people were saying doom and gloom, those who bought in during bad times have been collecting dividends and took profits when price is high |

It oct effect, no buyers all sellers and shortist. U gona tough it through till end oct for SIA, since ops results did not go down as much feared, lower jet fuel price and higher oil hefge gain would ride sia through. We in low growth low oil global economy for long time, maybe sia should start to rationalise and start divesting non core asset. |
